What an Incredible Year!

OUR FAVORITE MOMENTS OF 2024

As we wrap up 2024, we can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude for everything we’ve been able to create and share this year. It’s been a season filled with love, celebration, and some truly unforgettable moments. From the first concepts to the final petal placed, each event we’ve worked on has been a chance to turn a vision into a living, breathing work of art. We’ve had the privilege of being part of so many beautiful celebrations—each one unique, each one special in its own way—and we’re incredibly thankful for the trust our clients have placed in us to bring their dreams to life. Every bouquet, centerpiece, and floral installation has been a labor of love, and it’s been such an honor to help make these moments even more beautiful.

2024 was a year of growth, creativity, and connection. We had the joy of designing for everything from intimate elopements to full-scale weddings, heartfelt celebrations to vibrant corporate events. With each event, we pushed our creativity further, embracing new challenges and discovering fresh ways to bring our clients' floral visions to life. Whether we were curating lush garden-inspired tablescapes or creating stunning statement pieces for black-tie receptions, the process was always driven by a desire to make each occasion unforgettable. The most rewarding part? Seeing our designs become an integral part of the memories that will be cherished for years to come. It’s these moments of connection that inspire us and remind us why we love what we do.

As we look ahead to 2025, we’re filled with excitement for the new projects and celebrations to come. But before we dive into the new year, we wanted to take a moment to look back at some of our favorite moments from 2024. We’ve gathered some of our favorite moments that made this year so special. These are the moments that have fueled our passion for event floral design, and really felt special to each one of us individually. Here’s to the reflection and creativity of 2024!

CAITIE’s favorite: CORAL CHARMs and color pops

Among the weddings I had the privilege of working on in 2024, one May wedding in particular stands out most vividly. With the backdrop of the picturesque Southall Farm & Inn in mind, the couple initially envisioned a subdued palette of whites, neutrals, and subtle blue and green accents. However, they made a bold and exciting shift, opting for a vibrant palette that truly made a statement. This change resulted in an unforgettable evening and we were more than happy to incorporate some of the year’s most beautiful flowers!

Late Spring is an incredible time for flowers, especially those grown locally around Nashville. Peonies were at their peak, and we were fortunate to incorporate stunning Coral Charm from Southern Kentucky Floral Exchange. Additionally, we utilized snapdragons from Blooming Acres Farm and striking eleagnus provided by Karen from Petalland Flower and Herb Farm. These were complemented by some of the LARGEST delphinium I’ve ever seen, the coveted Pastelegance peonies, beautiful Wabara garden roses, and, of course, the flower we affectionately call cheese balls (Buddleja globosa).

Looking back, vibrant colors were undeniably a prominent trend in 2024. It was exciting to see couples embrace such bold palettes. I'm curious to see if this trend continues in 2025, maybe with some unexpected pops of color or even a return to more classic palettes with a modern twist. The possibilities are endless, and I'm eager to see what creative challenges and exciting new trends await us!

EVE’S favorite: a bold yet sophisticated chartreuse PALette

This September, we had the opportunity to be a part of Coco and Brandon’s stunning wedding at The Fisher Center at Belmont University with House of Grey Events. From the breathtaking church ceremony to the lively dance floor, their entire day was filled with modern elegance. However, there was one element that stole the show for me. It’s not often that a design captures my heart the way this one did, but their chic centerpieces were truly one of my favorite creations of the year.

The color palette was bold yet sophisticated: chartreuse and white florals paired with sleek black and gold accents. The combination of ranunculus, reflexed white tulips, hydrangeas, and cascading green amaranthus created a perfect blend of texture and movement. The elements to this design were classic, things that we see used in weddings quite often, but the composition of the design was striking. The hydrangeas added weight, while the reflexed tulips and ranunculus floated and popped. The vibrant chartreuse of the amaranthus added energy and modernity, while the soft white blooms grounded the design in timeless elegance.

We placed these arrangements in footed black vases, and to complete the tablescape, we incorporated gold and black lamps, and taper candles, which added such a romantic glow to the room. The modern arrangements coupled with the ornate architecture of The Fisher Center was so memorable and unique, yet timeless. What made this design even more special was how seamlessly it reflected Coco and Brandon’s unique style—bold, chic, and effortlessly elegant.

This design will stay with me for years to come, not just for its beauty but for the way it perfectly embodied the couple’s vision on their special day.

MEG’S favorite: a hanging bougainvillea installation

This spring, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with The Social Office on Gray and Joe’s wedding at her childhood home in Belle Meade. Gray and her mom, Elizabeth, envisioned a stunning focal point for the reception—a hanging bougainvillea installation suspended over the dance floor and circle bar. What I didn’t know at the time was that this project would become my favorite event of 2024.

Bougainvillea is not a flower we can source in Tennessee, so we had to get creative. Working with artificial blooms and foraged grapevine, we set out to craft a design that would capture the wild, organic beauty of real bougainvillea. The challenge was significant: create something that looked both natural and lifelike while working with materials that are inherently artificial. The two-day install pushed our creative limits, but the process was incredibly rewarding. We meticulously layered faux florals and intertwined the grapevine to build a stunning structure that hung effortlessly above the reception area.

The result was a dramatic and vibrant centerpiece that transformed the space. Seeing Gray and Joe's reaction to the finished installation made every minute of effort worthwhile. The installation became the heart of their celebration, and I’m so grateful to have been part of such a memorable and meaningful wedding. It was a true highlight of my year.

Grace's Favorite: an intimate lush Southhall Ceremony

Reflecting on 2024, one of the most perfect design moments in my opinion was the breathtaking ceremony backdrop we created for an intimate wedding at Southall Farm, with Kelsey Rae Designs. Nestled amidst serene woodlands and glowing with natural light, this enchanting setting called for a floral arrangement that complemented its organic beauty while making a bold yet elegant statement. Inspired by the delicate charm of nature, we brought together layers of texture, earthy tones, and timeless blooms to create a moment of pure magic.

The focal point of this design was the lush, low-lying, meadow-inspired floral installation, embracing a palette of soft whites, creams, and greens. We incorporated a stunning mix of garden roses, dahlias, lisianthus, and Queen Anne's lace, complemented by textural elements like moss, delicate branches, and feathery grasses. The organic flow of the arrangements, paired with natural wood chairs, created a seamless blend of floral beauty and rustic elegance. Each cluster of flowers framed the ceremony space without overwhelming it, ensuring the view of the surrounding hills remained a focal point for the couple and their guests.

The greenery overhead added a romantic touch, drawing the eyes upward and creating a sense of intimacy under the wooden beams, Every element, from the softly glowing string lights to the interplay of sunlight through the trees, transformed this ceremony into an unforgettable floral dreamscape. I felt like this was such a perfect reminder of how intentional design can elevate a natural setting- It was grounded and whimsical, and it lives in my mind all the time.
